I’m Chanel Jones, a single mom, creator , and community advocate in Central Texas. I started Cubs Craft Corner because I believe creativity can heal, connect, and empower especially for kids who need a safe space to express themselves. And to offer a break to the parents who just need a moment to breathe and have time for self care to be the best for their babies.

Craft Corner is a fun, affordable program for kids ages 3-12 to come together three nights a week and explore their creativity through hands-on crafting. For just $25 per class, kids learn to make something new each week painting, jewelry, slime, clay art, vision boards, you name it. We keep it fun, we keep it safe, and we keep it uniquely their own. This project started in my own home with my daughter and her friends. But the smiles, confidence, and excitement I saw in those kids told me it was bigger than that. Now, I want to expand it to rent a small space, allow more kiddos , get more supplies, and offer scholarships for families who can’t afford the fee but want to allow their kids an option to meet new friends and use their creative minds.

Every dollar helps build a safe space where kids can be themselves and learn that creativity isn’t just an activity it’s a way to cope, dream, and grow.
