This GoFundMe is being created as a means to collect funds for the, “Chametla Charity Golf Tournament”.

Funds collected will go towards covering green fees as well as a donation toward the, “Chametla Charity Fund”.

Chametla is a small, rural town located in Sinaloa, Mexico that is very near and dear to the organizers. Chametla is famous for their shrimping, fishing, and agriculture. It is the site of two pre-Hispanic pyramids, and legend has it that Hernan Cortes spent time there during his travels, mainly in the, “Cueva del Diablo” over looking the valley.

Present day Chametla is a town filled with humble, hard-working citizens who often times do not have the means to maintain their beautiful town. Next year they will be celebrating their 495th Anniversary.

Funds raised from this tournament will go towards building and maintaining infrastructure and historic sites, such as churches and monuments.
