Support Chad's Journey to Say Goodbye

Hi everyone,

My name is Chad, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. I'm currently working in the United States to build a better life for my family — my loving wife and our two beautiful daughters. This journey has been full of sacrifices, but every step has been worth it for their future.

Recently, my family received devastating news. My step-dad — a man who has been a steady, loving presence in my life for many years — has been diagnosed with aggressive pancreatic cancer. The prognosis is not good, and time is painfully short.

He helped raise me and shaped the person I am today. His kindness, strength, and constant support have meant everything to me, and I can't imagine not seeing him again. All I want is to be there, to sit with him, to say thank you, and to share a few final moments together.

I'm humbly asking for your help to raise the funds for a round-trip plane ticket from the United States to Cape Town, South Africa. I plan to travel home, spend a short but meaningful time with him, and return to the U.S. to continue working — because as much as my heart is back home, I still need to provide for my family.

The cost of international travel is more than I can manage on my own right now, especially with the financial responsibilities I have here. Every donation, no matter the size, will help me get closer to my goal and give me a chance to say goodbye in person.
