Hi, I'm Chad. I love my kids and I need help. My family has been severely broken due to a "high conflict divorce" which has left me and my kids traumatized and alienated from each other for varying periods over the past 8 years. I have been fighting against the tide to keep them in my life, but the struggle to do so has been overwhelming.

After separation from their mother, she began a campaign to destroy my character in the eyes of my children and the community around them (and me). This campaign has worked mostly in her favor for a number of years, but I was recently granted full custody on a temporary basis. The goal right now is for us to all be in individual and family therapy and for the court to create some guardrails for our family to prevent further alienation and trauma.

The problem right now is that since this current win, court has become prohibitively expensive, and I am still paying child support in spite of having full custody. I need a lawyer to help me figure out how to navigate the system and get this worked out, as well as helping me figure out if anything can be done to ensure things end up stable for everyone involved. That being said, I have run out of money. Anyone who knows me will attest to my independence and self-sufficiency, so this is incredibly embarrassing to be asking, but I really need help affording this phase of our process, and I hope some kind internetizens might be able to help.

100% of these funds will be used for legal costs and and any mental health costs that are not covered by insurance (mostly a lawyer for ongoing legal needs).
