~~Mission Trip to Spain July 2024~~

Hi everyone! This is my amazing family - Chad, Rachel, Kenzie (me), Jake, and Lukas.

Some of you might know that over the past two years my mom has spent many volunteer hours teaching English lessons on Zoom to teens and adults in Ukraine. She even taught while on her spring breaks and all summer long, too. She started when the war began and continues still, two years later. The Christian organization, Radooga Ministries (Radooga, which means rainbow or God’s promise) coordinated these Zoom English lessons to help support the thousands of refugee children and teens spread all over Europe. Radooga’s mission is to support children and teens through lessons and camps, and then to show them the incredible love of Christ. Even before the war (since 1994, actually) Radooga Ministries has been partnering with churches to bring the love of Jesus to the kids of Ukraine. About a month ago my mom and dad were presented with the opportunity to travel to Spain this summer to work with Radooga Ministries and a Christian church in Valencia, Spain called Slavic Baptist Church to teach English and support displaced Ukrainian teens living there.

My parents will have the opportunity to work in a remote camp (possibly no electricity, in bunk beds, etc.) teaching English and showing Christ’s love to the kids.
