My name is Spencer, and I am a Swedish musician and entrepreneur with Filipino family roots. Through my personal experiences in the Philippines, I have seen how difficult life can be for many children and families.

One memory has stayed with me deeply. I met a young street vendor in Cebu City, perhaps only eight years old, standing in the heat and looking exhausted. I bought her an ice-cold Coke, and her smile in that moment reminded me how even a small act of kindness can mean so much.

On 31 October, I turn 29. This year, instead of focusing on birthday gifts for myself, I want my birthday to mark the beginning of something meaningful for others.

The fundraiser will run from around my birthday through Christmas and New Year, leading up to January 2027, when I will be in Cebu for a few days and personally carry out the project on location.

The project is being carried out in cooperation with Ascension Lutheran Church (ALC) in Liloan, just north of Cebu City. ALC has recently started outreach activities for children and young people in the local community. The church currently provides ongoing support and activities for around 20 children, many of whom face significant challenges in their daily lives. I am grateful for the opportunity to support this work.

100% of the donations will be used to purchase supplies that I will personally buy in Cebu and help distribute directly on site. Based on the needs identified together with ALC, the donations will be used for:

* school and educational materials

* drawing and craft supplies for children

* food and basic groceries

* other essential supplies according to local needs

I will personally purchase the supplies in Cebu and take part in distributing them together with ALC to the children they work with.

It is also important to me that all of my own travel, transportation and other expenses are paid entirely by me. My trip has already been planned and paid for separately. None of the donations will be used for my flights, accommodation, local transportation or personal expenses.

My goal is to carry out this project in a respectful and transparent way. I also intend to document parts of the project so that everyone who has supported the fundraiser can see how the donations were used and what we were able to accomplish together.
