Hi, my name is Cayden! I am an almost 9-year old boy who loves animals, orange, fun live events, and spending time with my family. I have a misspelled gene that affects the parts of my body down the middle of my body and have a rare disorder called Mandibulofacial Dysostosis with Microcephaly. Although I love to run, play ball, and especially jump, I get worn out quickly and am uneasy and hesitant with uneven surfaces. I am the middle child of three and everyone in my family loves to go on hikes and see what animals and interesting things we can find. Now that my siblings are getting bigger, we're able to do this more often together as a family. But now that I'm getting bigger, it's getting harder for my parents to carry me when I get tired or get nervous walking on the paths. Our last hike included me way behind while my little brother ran ahead, but the point is for us to have fun together!

There is a new product created by a special needs parent called the "Huckleberry Hiking Cart" that will allow me to go together with my family and be a part of the fun. It is a chair that is hooked to an adult's waist and pulled along, allowing me to easily go over all types of terrain. We would all love if I could have this for my 9th birthday in September. We are so thankful for everyone's continued support as I've grown and really appreciate making this dream a reality for my family.
