For many of you who know our family's adoption story, so much of it could not have been possible without our dear friend, Cathy Nganda. Cathy is a Ugandan woman who served a critical role in Isaac's life; helping to care for him during his time at the Tenderhearts Baby's Home in Uganda before we adopted him. Cathy has remained an important person in his life and in ours, forever referred to as "Mama Cathy" as we have remained in touch these past 10 years. She continues to be an advocate for pregnant women and orphaned children, and has remained steadfast even in the most difficult of financial situations these past few years.
Cathy is in need of help, specifically when it comes to the tuition payments for her own children to continue to attend school in Uganda. The economic conditions in Uganda continue to deteriorate, and it is critically important that Cathy's sons and daughters be given every opportunity to finish school to have a chance at success. In the ten years we have known her, she has never asked for help like this, but Lauren and I would like to develop a pathway to support her children in the same we she did for our son all those years ago. Would you help us in this endeavor? We're looking to cover 2 terms worth of schooling for each of her children, or about $350 per kid per term.
