Support Catherine's Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Alex Lake, and I am fundraising for my sister Catherine Rutledge. One year ago she was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer. Not long after being diagnosed, she had a double mastectomy. Then they discovered through tests, and scans that it had metastasized to other areas in her body. She is in a lot of pain, even has difficulty talking. Catherine lives in Texas, pursuing her dream of graduating college  in August. She is unable to work due to the side of effects of the Chemotherapy, as well as the intense pain she has on a daily basis. For several months our family has been doing all that we can to help her financially by paying for Catherine’s  out of pocket medical expenses and daily living expenses, such as Rent, Utilities, Groceries, etc. Our family is now reaching out to our friends and our community to ask for assistance on behalf of Catherine to help fight this battle. Catherine is a kind hearted person, who is devoted to her faith in God, and believes in helping others before herself. She enjoys working out, and being physically active, with an avid love of learning.
