Support Cate's Journey

Please help us support Nichole and Phil Kiefner as they stand by their 5 month old baby girl Cate, who was diagnosed with Lymphocytopenia when she was just 1 week old. 

Nichole and Phil would never ask for help, but they both are the type of people who are always supporting others, so it's time to return the kindness.  

Cate's condition has caused her immune system to be very weak. Nichole is unable to work and must stay at home with Cate in order to protect her from germs as much as possible. Cate is not allowed allowed to go out in public or have visitors at this point. They anticipate these restrictions until she is 1 year old. Cate goes every month for infusions, injections, and receives daily medications to help her from getting sick. Cate has already undergone a 27,000.00 lab test to look directly at her genes. Her situation is rare, she is already apart of a research study to help gain information and treatment plans for her, and future patients. Cates team will be watching her cell counts and deciding if it's best or not if she receives a bone marrow transplant this year.

Nichole and Phil also have a 5 year old little boy who can't attend school this year to avoid the risk of bringing home germs.
