Help Support Casey & her Children After a Devastating Accident
On Thursday, September 11, Casey was badly injured in a grease fire while cooking. She was rushed by helicopter to the Augusta Burn Center, where doctors discovered 3rd-degree burns covering both feet and her right arm (from the elbow down).
She endured an 8-hour surgery on Friday, September 12, and while she was able to come home Sunday, September 14, her journey is far from over. She will return on Monday, September 22 for another surgery, with the possibility of several more to follow.
This tragedy comes at an especially difficult time. Casey was set to start a new job at Nephron on the very same day as her next surgery. She is also a single mother of 4, raising her children alone after already experiencing the heartbreaking loss of the father to three of her girls.
We are asking for your help during this incredibly challenging time. Donations will go toward:
Medical expenses and ongoing surgeries
Travel costs to and from Augusta for treatment
Household and childcare needs while she heals
Support for her children during her recovery
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference for Casey and her family. If you cannot give, please consider sharing this page to spread the word.
Thank you for standing beside Casey and her children with love, prayers, and support.
