About Gift of Dignity and Casa Hogar Elim

Gift of Dignity’s focus is Casa Hogar Elim Orphanage, home to 58 children. Our goal is for each child to experience a restoration to a life of purpose in which they can dream big and fulfill their God-given potential.

Through support of traditional and vocational education, improved nutrition and spiritual development, we seek to help these children discover their significance and the unique story that was created for them by their heavenly Father.

One aspect of our work is to host mission teams wishing to connect with the children. We have a dormitory on site where the teams stay - very basic - bunk beds, showers, bathrooms and a resting area.

Several years ago we experienced a storm strong enough to tear up part of the roof, leaving holes that have allowed water from subsequent storms to leak through, damaging sheetrock and leaving the area less than accommodating. It sounds like a mariachi band on the roof when the wind picks up!

We would be so grateful to receive the funding to purchase materials and pay for the workers to make the repairs.
