Casa Bonita has always been more than just a restaurant—it's a Colorado tradition that has brought joy and wonder to generations. Nearly everyone in the Denver area has a cherished memory of visiting Casa Bonita as a child: the thrill of the cliff divers, the laughter from the skits, the smell of fresh sopapillas, and the sense of magic that filled the air. Many of the current performers grew up watching those shows, dreaming of one day being part of the magic themselves. Today, they are the ones creating those unforgettable moments for a new generation—kids staring in awe at the divers, or laughing with the actors as they bring stories to life. Casa Bonita is about community, creativity, and connection. It’s the beating heart of Colorado nostalgia, and the performers are the soul of that experience.

Support the Casa Bonita United Performers Strike Fund. Casa Bonita’s performers—the divers, actors, and acrobats who bring the magic to life every single day—are taking a stand for safety, dignity, and fair treatment. For months, management has refused to bargain in good faith. They’ve ignored safety concerns, rejected fair pay proposals, and treated the very people who are the show as disposable. Now, the artists and athletes who make Casa Bonita the legend it is are standing together—and they need your help to stay strong.

What We’re Fighting For: The divers—world-class athletes who have been diving from Casa Bonita’s cliffs for over 50 years—are risking their lives every day without proper safety protocols or fair pay. Management refuses to implement a certified aquatic safety plan—a standard in every professional aquatic facility. Divers often perform multiple high dives per hour, spending hours in cold, chlorinated water. They have fought for and personally provided their own safety measures, from rescue equipment to training, because management wouldn’t. These performers are literal lifesavers and athletes of the highest caliber—yet they earn less than a server.

The actors and immersive performers—the ones who make guests laugh, gasp, and cheer through the building’s winding rooms—have also been fighting for basic respect: No reliable emergency response plans or staff training when dealing with unsafe or uncomfortable situations. Low pay despite years of experience and constant guest interaction. Little support for those who bring heart and story to every visit—turning a meal into a memory. These are the performers who create core childhood memories, who bring families together, and who make Casa Bonita magical.

What We Believe: We love Casa Bonita. We love our guests. We love making magic. But no one should have to risk their life or their livelihood to do what they love. This strike isn’t just about wages—it’s about safety, respect, and the right to be treated as professionals. It’s about protecting the legacy of Casa Bonita and ensuring that the next 50 years of performers can continue to create memories safely and proudly.

How You Can Help: Donate what you can—every contribution makes a real difference. Share this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community. Stand in solidarity with the divers and actors who keep Colorado’s favorite landmark alive. Together, we can make sure these incredible performers don’t have to choose between doing what’s right and being able to live.

Casa Bonita United – Equity Strong, Union Proud. Because without us, Casa Bonita is just a pink building with a pool. With us—it’s 50 years of magic, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.
