My name is Carter Pena and I am fundraising for my Eagle Project. My project will be upgrading the T-ball field at Faith United Methodist Church. I chose this project to provide local kids a place to play and learn to play baseball. This will not only benefit the children at the church, but the community as well. Team sports are important for children because it provides exercise and teaches team work skills. I wanted to do this project because I love baseball and want to share that experience with the local kids. I remember playing kick ball on that field when I was younger and I feel like it could be an even better experience if the field was upgraded. Faith has been a great home to me and I would love to give back and I feel like this is the best opportunity that I have to do so. I have set up a GoFundMe for this project to raise the $6200 needed to purchase the dirt, benches, and supplies to build the T-ball field. All funds raised will go towards the T-ball field project and any funds remaining will be donated to Faith United Methodist Church. Thank you for considering donating to my project.
