Support Carter Kassis' Eagle Project for Butterfly Gardens

Hi! My name is Carter Kassis, and I’m a proud Boy Scout with the Life Rank from Troop 125 in Wellington, FL. Over the past seven years, Scouting has been an incredible journey for me—I’ve earned 41 merit badges, camped out for 98 nights, and contributed 386 service hours to my community!

Right now, I’m working on something I’m truly passionate about—my Eagle Scout Project! I’m creating two beautiful Butterfly Gardens at the Okeeheelee Nature Center. These gardens will surround the Outdoor Classroom, a wonderful space used for nature education and community events. With your support, we can transform this area into a thriving, sustainable haven for wildlife and people alike.

These Butterfly Gardens will provide essential habitat for birds, amphibians, reptiles, insects, and—most importantly—pollinators! Pollinators are crucial to our environment, and this project will help support their populations while offering an inspiring space for learning and enjoyment.

I’ll be leading a team of volunteers to bring this vision to life, but we need your help. Your donation will go directly toward the materials and supplies needed to build and plant these gardens.
