Hi Everyone!

Red Edwards was a Big Walnut High School Track Coach for over 60 years and recently passed. He was a legend in Sunbury and gave so much to the community and track teams over the years.

My name is Carson Wolfe and I am a Life Scout with Troop 701 in Sunbury, OH. I am 14 years old and will be a Freshman at Big Walnut High School this Fall. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project which is to build a Spirit Tower to honor Red Edwards. The Spirit Tower will be a rectangular tower made of cinder block with a metal roof and will be painted by students throughout the year allowing them to show school spirit. It will be 10 feet tall and 4 feet square. At the old high school (current middle school) there was spirit tower, but it is missing at our new high school. The new tower will be situated in the grassy area by the sidewalk leading up to football field at the new Big Walnut High School.

The money raised in this fundraiser will help fund the materials and supplies needed to build and install the tower for my project. Excess funds will be donated in Red’s name to Big Walnut High School.

Thank you very much for your support!

Carson Wolfe
