Hi, my name is Maggie Garman, and I’m raising money to support Comprehensive Alcoholism Rehabilitation Programs (CARP), Inc., an organization that brings hope and healing to individuals struggling with alcoholism and addiction in Palm Beach County. CARP provides a safe, supportive environment through its men’s and women’s twelve-step residences, helping people break free from the cycle of addiction and homelessness.

For me, this cause is deeply personal. I’ve been sober since February 18, 2024, and I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing programs like CARP can be. Recovery isn’t just about getting sober—it’s about having a safe place to land, people who believe in you, and the support needed to rebuild a life. I’ve also lost people I love to addiction, and I want to help be a voice for those who may not be able to speak for themselves.

On April 12, 2026, I’ll be running the Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Race in Washington, DC to raise $1,000 for CARP. Every mile I run represents hope, resilience, and the fight for recovery. Your donation will help provide essential resources and counseling services, as well as maintain a nurturing living environment for individuals on their recovery journey.
