Support Carol's Fight Against Stomach Cancer

Hi everyone,

My name is Tracie Egbert-Johnson, and I’m reaching out with all my heart to ask for your support for my incredible mom, Carol Jean Burt. She’s the strongest, most giving person I know—a true superhero to me and so many others.

Now, as she battles stomach cancer, I need your help to give her the strength to focus on healing.

For 17 years, Mom sold Princess House Crystal, bringing sparkle to countless homes. She worked 10 years at Geico, always with a smile. But to so many of you, she’s best known as Little Miss Muffin, the original mobile snack bar. Whether at youth sports fields, making sure kids had their snacks, or at the trolley, saving you from paying $5 for a bottle of water, Carol was there with her warm heart and delicious treats. Her love for serving others made her a beloved part of our community.

Mom’s also a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast—she’d light up talking about the show—and Superman, her ultimate hero. She even has a Superman tattoo over her heart, a tribute to her real-life hero, my dad. That’s the kind of love and passion she brings to everything.

Right now, Carol is fighting stomach cancer, but the co-pays and medical bills are overwhelming on her fixed income. These costs are a heavy burden when all she should be thinking about is getting better. We’re starting this GoFundMe to help cover her co-pays and medical expenses, so she can keep her strength and spirit focused on beating this disease.
