Support Carolina's Journey to the U.S.

Hi everyone! My name is Jeff. I am trying to get my Fiancé Carolina here from Venezuela. We are going about this through a K1 visa. I am amazed the time and cost are both large. The country of Venezuela is a hard place to live and getting worse every day. We are working hard to get her here safely which requires a trip to Bogota, Colombia due to the fact Venezuela has no United States Embassy. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Update!! Carolina arrived here in Montana Tuesday August 13!! After having to spend 2 months in Bogota waiting on the Embassy to process things. About 5 weeks longer than it should have taken. But she is here with only 2 suitcases with everything she owns. So as the weather starts to turn to winter here in a couple months she will learn what Montana winters are like. October last year we had a week at about -20 degrees. I hope she is ready for it!! Now it is getting her settled and hopefully getting her work permit soon. Right now she is just relaxing at our home on the days I go to work and being happy that she is finally in the United States. Any continued support would be awesome and we would be extremely grateful as the cost of the extended time in Bogota was financially tough. But we will make it and just be grateful that we are together and not waiting for governmental delays and non communication that made us so frustrated.
