My grandma, Carolina Huerta Ramirez, is facing one of the hardest battles of her life. Recently, she received a deportation order, and unless she can secure proper legal help, she may be forced to leave the country she calls home.

Carolina has her court date set for October 21, and time is running out. To have a fair chance in court, she needs an immigration lawyer who can defend her case and protect her from being separated from her family. The legal fees are $1,200, and we are reaching out to our community for help to raise this amount as quickly as possible.

My grandma is more than just a name on a court document. She is the heart of our family—always cooking for us, offering words of encouragement, and sharing the traditions that keep us connected to our roots. She has lived her life working hard and giving everything she can to her loved ones. Now, she needs us.
