Hi, my name is Angie Carroll, and I’m reaching out for help for my beautiful friend Carol Walter during one of the most challenging times in her life.

She’s been diagnosed with high-risk, acute promyelocytic leukemia, and her treatment journey has been overwhelming both physically and financially. Carol is currently undergoing an intense chemotherapy regimen that requires her to travel to her treatments four to five days a week, for four months straight.

The costs are quickly adding up. One of her medications alone costs $1,200 per month. Meanwhile, the gas for traveling back and forth to her treatments is becoming an enormous financial burden.

My friend Carol has always been independent and self-sufficient, and asking for help isn’t easy for her. So, I’m going to do it on her behalf.

I’m humbly asking for your support to help my friend Carol cover medical expenses and the gas she will need to get to her treatments. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference and help my dear friend continue this fight against leukemia.
