<div>Lexand Xavier Baker and his family reside in Wilber, NE. He is 16 years old and attends Wilber-Clatonia High School. He was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He will be undergoing chemotherapy and is currently admitted to receive the treatment he needs. Lexand Xavier Baker Fundraiser

I am raising money for a friend of mine that I have known for 35 years. Kerry Baker (Prebyl) is a married mom of 3 teenage boys, lives in Wilber, NE, works part time managing rentals and painting houses. Her husband, Brian, works for Koch Industries in Beatrice.

 

On the evening of July 13, 2021 Zander, 16 years old, had a horrible accident and was electrocuted downtown Wilber. He had to be life flighted to Saint Elizabeth's burn unit. The electricity entered his right shoulder &amp; exited his left leg. He has 2 wound vacuum pumps on his shoulder &amp; leg. He has had 1 surgery to clean out dead skin and tissue but will need more surgeries in the future, plus lots of skin grafting and then off to Madonna for physical therapy to help with nerve damage in leg and in part of his foot.

 

Zander is a good student, and active in Wrestling, Baseball, Football &amp; Track every year. Because of this accident he will not be able to start school on time or participate in any of his sports this year. This has him feeling really down but definitely hoping for a full recovery so he can once again participate in the sports he loves.

 

I am doing this gofundme to help this family out with medical, driving and food expenses. Kerry &amp; Brian share the duty of spending every day and evening with Zander, in the hospital, plus also make sure to care for the other 2 chidren in the house. Between the daily commutes to Lincoln &amp; medical bills it is a huge expense, and with this gofundme I am hoping to relieve them of some of the those expenses.

Medical fundraiser for Zander Baker

Dear everyone, My beautiful wife Angela, at the age of 37, was diagnosed with terminal cancer after rough battles and years in remission. The doctors have given us a time frame of 3 months to 1 year. Angela will be ongoing immunotherapy treatments every three weeks until her body cannot handle anymore. Angela has a limited, yet meaningful bucket list of experiences that she would like to accomplish while she has the ability to do so. She has been battling again with cancer through the entirety of this year, which has kept her out of work and depleted our funds. Any amount of donations to her bucket list fund will be impactful more than words could ever justify. Angela has always been one of the most kind and compassionate people I’ve ever met, which is just a small portion of the reason i fell so in love with her. She does not have a single bad bone in her body and has lived as the quality of person we should all strive to be. Three years ago I lost my mother and father in the same year. Now I have been apprised with this unfortunate news. Life is never going to be easy for me without my Angela, but knowing that my wife will be able to have her final wishes brought to fruition will bring some ease and happiness to her and our family, in a time where those feelings seem invisible.
