My name is Gianna, i’m 20 years old, and I’m raising money to help support my boyfriend, Carl, who is currently in ICE detention and has been since December 18th.

This country is his home. His family is here. His life is here. We are working toward a hopeful potential release, which requires significant payment along with ongoing legal expenses. The risk he could be forced back to Haiti, an extremely dangerous place to return to alone, without any support system, as well as the financial burden have become overwhelming, and we are doing everything we can to keep pushing forward.

Carl is a hardworking, determined, kind young man who wants nothing more than to work and provide for those he loves most, and deserves every opportunity to be able to do that and continue his life here safe with his family.

Funds will go directly toward required payments for his potential release, current detention expenses, and ongoing related legal costs.
