Support Carlos Blanco's Fight Against Deportation

Donation protected
Carlos Blanco is a devoted father and husband fighting to stay with his family in the United States. He moved to the U.S. in 2005 from San Salvador. He met his wife they started their family together in Denver, Colorado, and this is where he calls home. In 2011 he was arrested for driving without a license--a license he couldn't legally obtain--and received a deportation order. He's been fighting that order for the last 14 years. He case had been closed, but under the Trump administration, ICE re-opened it. He has court in January 2026. His family has found a new lawyer and is fighting the case.

Carlos is a loving father to his three sons, one in middle school, one starting kindergarten, and one still a toddler. They were all born and raised in Denver and would be devastated to be separated from their father. He's a dedicated member of his community, constantly giving back through his church, and has been involved in immigrant rights work in Denver for the last several years. A trained chef, Carlos is a contributor to the book Cocina Libre, a collection of recipes and stories from immigrant chefs that benefits the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition.

I first met Carlos six years ago when we were both organizing with the Denver-based group Sanctuary4All. In the time I've known him I've seen him show up over and over again for his community and his family. He deserves a chance to fight to stay here with them.

Legal costs aren't cheap--to pay his lawyer he needs 20,000, which will be paid in installments up until the court date. Please support as much as you're able, and spread the word. There will also be a vigil outside the court and accompaniment for the proceedings. The vigil will be on January 29, 2026 at 8:00am at 1961 Stout Street, with the hearing following at 8:30. Please keep the whole family in your thoughts and prayers.
