Carlos y Luis son originarios de Guatemala y, como todo inmigrante en este país, vinieron a buscar un futuro mejor para sus familias, ya que en su país tenían muy escasos recursos. Como todos los días, los dos hermanos salían a trabajar buscando el sustento para sus familias. Lamentablemente, el día 22 de octubre, ellos fueron detenidos por ICE en la Home Depot de Cicero, IL, dejando a sus familias sin un padre y esposo.

Carlos es una persona muy trabajadora y amigable, quien ya ha estado en este país más de 10 años y quien tiene un niño de 8 años, el cual es su motor para seguir adelante día a día.

Por otro lado, Luis es padre de un niño de apenas 3 años y su esposa está a punto de dar a luz a su segundo hijo en unas cuantas semanas más, a quien Luis espera con mucho anhelo. Ellos son los que motivaban a Luis a salir todos los días a trabajar.

Carlos y Luis salían todos los días arriesgándose, pero con el fin de traerles un plato de comida a la mesa a sus familias para no arriesgar a sus esposas a que les pasara lo que lamentablemente les sucedió a ellos.

Carlos y Luis son los mayores proveedores de su familia, y sin ellos, los niños y las esposas están inconsolables, ya que prácticamente se quedaron sin nada.

Por eso les pedimos humildemente que nos ayuden a recaudar fondos para poder traerlos de regreso a casa y puedan volver a ver a sus esposas, pero sobre todo a los niños, que para ellos son su mundo entero.

Los fondos recaudados serán usados para pagar a los abogados, y los fondos que superen la meta serán donados a una asociación sin fines de lucro, ICIRR.

Carlos and Luis risked themselves every day to put food on the table for their families and to protect their wives from going through what they went through.

Carlos and Luis are the primary providers for their families, and their children and wives are inconsolable, as they have practically nothing left without them.

Therefore, we humbly ask for your help in raising funds to bring them home so they can see their wives again, but above all, their children, who are their entire world.

The funds raised will be used to pay for their lawyers, and any funds exceeding the goal will be donated to the non-profit organization ICIRR.
