Support Multi-Modal Transportation in Rochester

This summer, I will be riding my bike on the Erie Canal Trail from Buffalo, NY, to Albany, NY.

 

As part of my trip, I am raising funds for a local organization called Reconnect Rochester .

 

Their mission:

 

"Whether by bus, by rail, on bike, or on foot, Reconnect Rochester champions transportation choices that enable a more vibrant and equitable community."

 

I've been living car-free in Rochester for the past year. Before I began my car-free journey, I researched cycling in our city.

 

That search led me to Reconnect Rochester and their work in our community.

 

Reconnect Rochester provides regular community outreach. They create valuable guides and maps that help us get around. They're also working to create more seating at bus stops and art-laden intersections.

 

Over the past year, I have experienced the value of their initiatives many times.

 

They are moving our community forward. Creating a more accessible, healthy, and supportive environment for all.

 

So, to help Reconnect Rochester continue their essential work, I've created this GoFundMe.
