Across Indiana, barbershops and salons have always been more than just places for a haircut. They’re gathering spaces—places where real conversations happen. But what if those same spaces could also become a bridge to mental wellness and community care?

Care Cuts, Inc. is a nonprofit based in East Central Indiana dedicated to restoring dignity and confidence to Hoosiers in need. We provide free haircuts, hygiene kits, and hope to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and hardship right here in Muncie and surrounding communities.

Through partnerships with local barbers, stylists, and volunteers, we’re creating a movement of compassion — one that meets people where they are, no questions asked.

Because everyone deserves to look in the mirror and see possibility again.

• It lifts self-esteem for those battling depression or addiction.
