Football is for everyone!

We are raising funds so that we can continue to play football at our current facility and continue to play matches. Training currently costs in excess of £200 per week. Despite exploring options internally to raise clubs funds, we have more players than ever struggling to access sport due to financial barriers, and so we are seeking your help.

Our current facilities mean that our players can play in a dedicated training area each week, without the risk of harassment from the public which we have experienced previously.

There is a significant risk that if we leave this facility, players will no longer engage in physical activity and lose the community bonds they have made at our club.

Cardiff Dragons FC is Wales’ first LGBTQ+ football club, established in 2008. We have a 7-a-side FLINTA team, two 11-a-side teams, a 5-a-side team and a Community team. Our mission is to provide football for the LGBTQ+ community in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
