Help My Family Recover from Devastating Flood Damage.

My name is Candis White and I am a single mom of three children and a NJ State Law Enforcement Officer. On Monday July 14 2025, my home in Dunellen was destroyed by flooding in the devastating storm that hit NJ. Sadly, for the second time in just four years, my home has been devastated by flooding.

Everything we own—our clothes, furniture, food, and appliances—has been destroyed, soaked, and covered in mud.

We have been through this before, and know about the emotional and financial toll that comes in the aftermath. Starting over is overwhelming, but we have no choice. Yes, we have flood insurance but it doesn't cover everything.

I’m humbly asking for your help. If you’re able to donate, any amount—no matter how small—will make a huge difference. Your support will go directly toward:

Temporary housing

Basic essentials (clothing, food, hygiene products)

Replacing damaged belongings (appliances, clothes, furniture, etc…)

Repairs and recovery efforts

I thank you for taking the time to understand our story. If you can't donate, please consider sharing this with others. Every little bit helps!
