Camp Unity is a FREE Youth Development Summer Enrichment program housed in the Bay Area, CA, founded to provide a safe, affordable and viable summer youth programming option for low-income families and marginalized communities. While founded with a focus on serving the Pacific Islander community, we instantly learned that the need for affordable programming was a need across all communities and have since our inceptions served all communities & ethnic groups.

For the last 14 years, we’ve kept our program free and have thrived off of donations and support from our community. We are here requesting continued and extended support to keep our program going strong.

We serve families from across 7 Northern California counties with youth also traveling in from 6 neighboring states to engage in our Quality youth development programming. Our cultural enrichment has proven to be transformative with 100% of youth referred to us from juvenile systems not returning to the system and all graduating high school. In 2024, we officially hit 71% of our alumni being enrolled in higher education and/or obtaining a degree. To date, we have served over 5,000 youth for FREE and hope to continue this service for our community.

We serve breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks daily, and provide Polynesian cultural enrichment curriculum (language, cultural arts, history & protocol, music) in addition to mental health and wellness, STEM & coding workshops, Entrepreneurship Career Pathways Business mentorship & MORE.
