Support Camp Samarpan: Empower Future Leaders
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you and your family well. In Georgia, we have been conducting Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs through the Bhutanese Nepali churches. This initiative provides an opportunity to train our 1.5-generation youths to become the next leaders while also reaching the 2nd generation of Bhutanese Nepali communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ through VBS.
Here is our prayer: This summer, for the first time, we will be conducting four weeks of VBS, and we are calling it "Camp Samarpan," which means "Camp where you will learn to submit to Jesus Christ." We will focus on the Fruit of the Spirit, as described in the Book of Galatians.
We are praying to have around 100-130 students, 20-35 volunteers, and 5-6 paid interns for the summer. This is a significant undertaking, and we cannot do it alone; we need all the help we can get. Our goal is to raise up the 1.5 generation and reach the 2nd generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ, so that through our Bhutanese Nepali churches, we can cultivate faithful men and women of God for our church and our country.
The funds you contribute will be used to hire interns, secure space, train volunteers, provide food and supplies needed for four weeks of VBS, and cover fees for parents who cannot afford to pay $25 a week for their children. Please pray for us and support our mission. We started this initiative three years ago with just one week, then expanded to two weeks, and now we aim to extend it to four weeks. We hope that what we accomplish this summer will help lay a strong foundation for the next year. That is why we are reaching out for all the help we can get. Thank you!
If you have any questions or thoughts, please feel free to let us know. Thank you in advance for your support!
