Help Us Rebuild Camp Mystic: A Summer Camp for Girls Cherished for Decades

Camp Mystic isn’t just a camp. It’s a place where generations of girls, women, and families have gathered under the Texas stars to connect through song and prayer, learn compassion and kindness, leadership and independence.

Who are we and how are we associated with Camp Mystic?

London is 6th year camper, War Canoe Stern, and M Girl at Cypress Lake. I’m an ex-camper from 1991-1994 on the Guadalupe River. Both of us are True Tonks ❤️ making our bond as mother and daughter and to the camp even more heartfelt and special!

But now… after Mother Natures Flood… after Londons safe return home …We are traumatized with heartbreak from the sights witnessed, and guilt of not being able to do something made us feel helpless and even more lost. The feelings of what was supposed to be the best summer yet…came to an abrupt stop after recording breaking flood waters down the Guadalupe River causing mass destruction and loss of life throughout Kerr County.

As a mom, my heart broke a little more when London said what if that’s it and camp closes forever and we don’t have a place to go back to and heal our hearts from this and recover? Well out of sadness and fear of the unknown and misguided new reporting within one day… we had to do something! We want to let Camp Mystic & Kerr Co. know we care …so we rallied our community, friends, family, colleagues that live near us to show support and made them a Green Bow and put it on their tree and urged them to donate…. leading us to create this Fund.

Keeping busy bringing awareness to others that wanted to help was just what we needed to heal our hearts and theirs too. While we wait for an official word from Camp Mystic, this fund is our way of acting now—to prepare the soil for healing and rebuilding, both physically and spiritually.

The Need

We’ve all seen the photos. We’ve felt the ache. We’ve cried for the place that raised us.

The cabins. The outdoor chapel. The peace you can only find on that land. Gone—or damaged beyond recognition.

But what remains?

Our love. Our memories. Our ability to show up when it matters most.

Where the Money Will Go:

100% of funds raised here will be transferred directly to Camp Mystic once they announce their official donation portal.

We’ll post all updates, receipts, and donation confirmation publicly—because this isn’t just my promise. It’s ours as a community.

This is for the girls who will return and haven’t yet sat on the rock benches and rock steps, sang by the river, or felt that first spark of something bigger than themselves.

This is for the moms who once were those girls.

This is for the counselors who gave their all every summer.

This is for every heart that has ever felt at home at Camp Mystic.

Let’s rebuild her. Let’s give her back to the campers and to remember those forever gone too soon
