Hello, A dear friend of mine, and I’m sure to many of you as well, needs our love, support and a little extra help at this time. Cami has witnessed a lot of tragedy in her life. Most recently, her biggest tragedy, the loss of her youngest son, Aaron. While she is still trying to process and grieve the loss of her Airman, Aaron, she is now dealing with the unexpected medical emergency for her middle son Matt.
During the back and forth travel to North Carolina where Aaron lived, preparing for his funeral in Kentucky and a Military service in North Carolina Matthew fell ill. The same night they returned from the NC service, Matt was admitted to St Elizabeth hospital and then rushed to UK hospital in Lexington, KY. He is currently waiting to be put on a liver transplant list.
Between trying to take the time to grieve, trying to help Matt cope with this life-threatening condition Cami has not been able to return to work since October 17 when she received the call no mom ever wants to get!
How much more can one momma’s heart endure….
Matt has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Beginning with a very lengthy stay in the hospital, an exorbitant number of medications, and the need for a constant care giver. Matt had been unable to work for quite sometime. Because of this, he had lost his health insurance. He will be unable to work for the unforeseeable future and will never be able to return to the line of work he is currently in and enjoyed.
Cami had always been the person that never gave up. When she was knocked down, she always had the perseverance and strength to get right back up. I have never heard Cami say “I need help!”. but, today I’m wanting to help Cami and Matt.
I started this GoFundMe to try and take some of the burden off Cami’s shoulders. She hasn’t had time to grieve the unexpected loss of her son Aaron and now she must help and be there for Matt. The last thing she needs is the worry of financial struggles that lie ahead.
Any amount you’re willing to donate is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small! If you are unable to contribute monetarily at this time, prayers, positive vibes or sharing this with your other friends and family will help so much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I know Cami, Matt, Justin and her grandchildren will be forever grateful!
I know Aaron is with them and watching over them. Let’s do this in his honor!
