Hi! My name is Caitlin and I am a member of the University of New Hampshire chapter of Global Medical Brigades (GMB). GMB is an international non-profit organization that provides sustainable healthcare to communities in Belize, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama. Every year our organization visits one of these countries to provide healthcare and medication to those who desperately need it, all at no cost. In addition, we strive to educate members of these communities on basic healthcare practices such as first aid and dental hygiene, helping them to become self sufficient in the long term. In January of 2026, I will be traveling to Panama on my second medical brigade with a group of 30 UNH students. While in Panama, we will be working alongside licensed physicians providing medical care to hundreds of members of the community. I am currently fundraising to meet the individual fundraising goal of $2700, which will allow me to take part in this groundbreaking organization and attend this brigade to Panama. All money fundraised will go towards the overall donation goal for the UNH chapter of GMB. This donation goal will then serve to purchase and transport a great deal of supplies to Panama, such as first aid kits, many different medications, basic hygiene items and much more. In our brigade to Panama last year we saw over 650 patients and are hoping to surpass this number in our upcoming brigade. If willing and able, any donation would be greatly appreciated!
