My name is Cadhla. I'm a 43 year old neurodivergent trans woman. I am experiencing housing and food insecurity and I am urgently in need of help.

Last year I was displaced from my living situation by an abusive ex and have been staying with friends and couch surfing ever since. My current housing arrangement is ending on August 15th and, as of this writing, I have not been able to secure a new place to live.

I am employed as a barista at a very small local bakery, but as the hours are very limited I am currently only earning around $200 per week. I am on the hunt for a second job, but I will almost certainly be homeless before I am able to find anything.

With this fundraiser, I am hoping to secure enough financial resources to pay for housing, food, transportation, and medical costs until I am able to find a second form of employment.

I have been moving from one unstable situation to the next for the last 5 years and I'm nothing short of exhausted. I want to be able to have safety and security so I can finally rebuild my life and begin helping the community that has already given me so much support.
