Support Caden's Eagle Scout Community Project

My name is Caden, and I am a Life Scout in Troop 404 in Columbus. I am currently working towards my Eagle Scout rank. I have been in scouting since Kindergarten. To conclude my scouting endeavors as a Boy Scout working towards the highest rank in Boy Scouts, Eagle Scout, I must plan, organize, and lead a service project for my community.

For my Eagle project, I have proposed building an animal enclosure at Savage Hart in Hamilton. This rescue takes in animals that have been wounded. This not only helps provide rescue to those animals but also helps improve the wildlife in our community.

The building permit has been approved by the city, and the structure follows the federal guidelines set for wildlife animal rescue. The funds raised for this Eagle project will be used towards purchasing materials to complete the enclosure needed. I am hoping to complete the project in May of 2025.

I am reaching out to the community to seek donations that will help to purchase the materials needed to complete this project. I have been able to get most of the materials donated. However, the 100-Feet x 4-Feet Silver Steel Woven Wire Rolled Fencing 1/4-in has been difficult to get donated. Each roll is about $250, and we need 2 rolls. I still need a few small items such as staples and door hardware.

Any leftover unused funds raised in this fundraiser will be entirely handed over to Savage Hart as a general donation from everyone who made this project possible. I am excited to have made it to this point and can’t wait to help the monastery complete this project.
