Hi, we’re the team behind Notable, a Jamaican-inspired deli in Astoria, NY and more than anything, we’re community people.

After Hurricane Melissa swept through Jamaica, the news quickly shifted its focus back to resorts and tourism. But we never stopped thinking about the real people: school kids now without classrooms, families without power or supplies, and hospitals stretched far beyond their limits.

At Notable, we’ve always said we’re more than a deli — we’re a love letter to Jamaica, written in food, community, and action.

So we’re launching Built Fi Dis, a grassroots relief initiative led by us and powered by people like you. We're raising funds to provide direct support to 1,000+ Jamaicans, with on-the-ground distribution happening in December and January.

This is about showing up — hand to hand, heart to heart — for those who need it most.

Built Fi Dis is our grassroots relief effort to serve 1,000+ Jamaicans in overlooked communities — the families without power, kids without school supplies, hospitals without basic resources. We’re not waiting for big orgs to step in. We’re going ourselves — this December and January.
