About Raki Raki Village:

Raki Raki Village is located in a very poor area of Fiji where resources are scarce, and the community struggles to provide adequate facilities for its residents. Despite these challenges, the spirit and determination of the people here are incredibly strong, and with your help, we can make a significant difference.

Project 1: Upgrading a School Building to Provide Training Facilities

Our school is passionate about fostering physical fitness and sportsmanship among our students. To further this mission, we plan to upgrade one of our existing buildings to include a training facility equipped with gym equipment specifically for rugby. Rugby is more than just a sport in Fiji; it is a way of life and a source of immense pride and joy. By providing proper training facilities, we aim to:

- Enhance the physical fitness and health of our students.

- Develop their rugby skills and teamwork.

- Create opportunities for scholarships and future careers in sports.

- Promote a healthy, active lifestyle within the community.

Project 2: Extension of Our School Chapel

Our school chapel is a central place of gathering, reflection, and spiritual growth. However, it is currently too small to accommodate all our students and staff comfortably. To address this, we plan to extend the chapel, allowing it to cater to the entire school. This extension will enable us to:

- Hold inclusive and larger gatherings for worship, assemblies, and events.

- Provide a serene space for students and staff to seek solace and spiritual guidance.

- Strengthen our sense of community and togetherness.

- Enhance the overall spiritual and moral development of our students.

Project 3: Building a Beehive for Sustainable Honey Production

In addition to enhancing our school facilities, we aim to support the broader community of Raki Raki Village by initiating a sustainable beekeeping project. This project will involve building a beehive to enable locals to source their own honey, providing both nutritional and economic benefits.

By establishing a beehive, we aim to:

Provide a Sustainable Food Source: Honey is a natural and healthy sweetener that can improve the diet of local families.

Create Economic Opportunities: The production and sale of honey can generate income for the villagers, helping to alleviate poverty and improve living standards.

Promote Environmental Conservation: Beekeeping encourages the protection of bees and their natural habitats, contributing to local biodiversity and ecological balance.
