Hello, My name is Ian Phillip, and this fundraiser is to benefit the family of a dear friend, Bryan King. Bryan and I were on the early crew of Karl Strauss Carlsbad in San Diego, which became a true extended family of brothers, sisters and partners in crime. He was a musician, an adventurer, a true lover of life. Bryan uplifted those around him, was a fierce friend and a maker of peace. He worked at many other Strauss locations in management, and was on his way to leading a very successful restaurant development in Texas. Tragically, Bryan lost a battle with a rare medical condition in which symptoms struck suddenly and irreversibly. He leaves behind a wife and two sons, in a family where he was the breadwinner. Bryan was a loving, hardworking husband to Danica and a top notch father to his boys. The family needs your help to support their housing needs, taking care of final expenses for Bryan, and helping to support their boys.
