Support Bru and Winchester, the Guardians of Highlands

Highlands is one of the most beautiful and sacred places in the sierra. It’s the headwaters of both the Mokelumne and Stanislaus Rivers.

Bru isn’t just a campground host. He’s a protector of the valley, a constant presence in the mountains. He sees it as his duty to care for the forest and everyone who passes through...and keep people in check. Which is much needed as well.

We’re raising funds to help Bru:

• provide healthy good food over the summer

• Get him a mobile internet device

• Prepare for the coming winter

• Cover essentials for him and Winchester

He would never ask for help, but we know how much he gives. He’s embodies the spirit of the mountains. If you’ve ever found peace in Highlands or felt looked after in the woods, this is a chance to give back to someone who makes that possible.
