Hello everyone, my name is Christina Freund, and I am reaching out on behalf of Brooke Leone. We are currently raising funds to support Brooke as she navigates a challenging situation. I kindly ask for your support and generosity during this difficult time.

Darcy, Brooke's single mom, has been hospitalized since May 28th and has recently been moved into hospice care. This has been an incredibly tough journey for them, with Darcy moving in and out of the ICU for the last several months. Costs have been mounting and the emotional and financial burden on Brooke has become overwhelming.

Brooke Leone is an inspiring young woman who has shown remarkable strength and resilience. As a 2018 graduate of Mayo High School, she excelled in hockey and lacrosse, truly embodying the Spartan spirit. Following high school, Brooke pursued her passion for sports, playing hockey and lacrosse at Hamline and then finishing her college hockey career at Augsburg. She graduated from Augsburg with a degree in Exercise Science and is currently in her second year of graduate school for Physical Therapy at UW Lacrosse.

While juggling her academic responsibilities, Brooke has taken on the immense responsibility of being the primary caregiver and decision-maker for her mom during this challenging period. She has been managing all the paperwork, making difficult decisions, and traveling back and forth between Rochester and Lacrosse to ensure Darcy receives the best possible care. Brooke's determination to balance her education and care for her mom is truly remarkable.

As you can imagine, the emotional and financial strain on Brooke has become overwhelming. With mounting bills, ongoing expenses, and the absence of life insurance or assets, Brooke finds herself in a difficult position.
