Support Brooke, In loving memory of Wendy Allen

Hello everyone!

My name is Nour Hamana, I am 15 years old and I am lucky enough to be blessed with the opportunity of knowing Wendy Allen and her 16 year old daughter, my best friend, Brooke Jenkins.

On Saturday July 30th, 2022, I was at dinner when I got the heartbreaking call from Brooke. “my mommy didn’t make it.” Something none of us were prepared to hear.

Ms. Wendy was raced to the hospital a few hours before due to an issue with her heart that came out of nowhere and caught everyone by surprise. I had seen her the morning of, she was the same sweet lady that opened her heart and home to me, took me on her vacations, & treated me like her own child. I gave her a hug as I left her house, not knowing it would be the last time I got to see my second mother.

Ms. Wendy and Brooke were best friends. She did everything she could to provide the best life she could for her daughter. She worked 2 jobs, at Costco and as a hairdresser to help support Brooke. This year, Brooke will attend her junior year at Blessed Trinity High School and will cheer both on the Varsity cheer squad and on her competitive team at the Stingray Allstars. All things Ms. Wendy was very proud of.

The reason for fundraising is to help Brooke Jenkins (16) continue the life she knows and ensure she has stability as she continues to grow up. This will help with her essentials as-well as to ensure she is able to stay in her extracurriculars and provide some assistance for college.

This is something we do not want to believe is true. It all still feels like a nightmare. We are all still in shock. Wendy Allen was loved by many, it is our turn to take care of her only child, who she was not ready to leave behind.

Please continue to keep Brooke’s entire family in your deepest prayers, as they all have been surrounding and caring for her unconditionally during these last few days.Thank you to everyone for everything, all donations are highly appreciated and will go directly towards Brooke.

We love you Ms. Wendy, I promise we are all taking care of your girl for you. Thank you for everything you have done for me.
