Born from the passion of active Bronxites, Bronx Medal Monday is a grassroots initiative that fills a long-standing void for runners Uptown. For years, marathoners, supporters, and aspiring athletes have lacked an accessible space to come together and celebrate the journey of 26.2. Our mission, with your help, is to unite our community in the pursuit of health and wellness, and to make recovery as meaningful as the race itself.
Now entering its third year, Bronx Medal Monday is The Bronx’s biggest post–NYC Marathon celebration and recovery event — a full day of connection, wellness, and joy that’s free and open to the public. Happening Monday, November 3rd, from 1–8 PM at the historic Andrew Freedman Home, the event will welcome more than 400 runners, families, and community members for an unforgettable day of care and celebration. Guests enjoy free medal engraving, massage and recovery treatments, yoga, professional portraits, giveaways, music, and more.
As a community-powered initiative, this event comes to life with local support. Every contribution helps cover vendor costs and ensures every service remains accessible to all. Thank you for helping us grow this Bronx-born tradition into the celebration the Uptown running community deserves.
