Broken Leg Theatre Company is a group of young, independent artists dedicated to creating performance opportunities in our community. After producing an entirely student-run version of Into the Woods in Spring 2025, we saw firsthand how much these experiences mean to young people. Now, we're excited to expand our impact in 2026 with a new summer production!

Our goal is to recruit high school and college-aged students to take on every aspect of the production, from producing and directing to design and acting. By offering these leadership roles, we’re giving students a chance to express themselves creatively and learn how to collaborate with like-minded peers—opportunities that are not often available to people our age. The production will take place over two weeks in July 2026 at a local theatre, with rehearsals and production meetings leading up to a weekend of performances.

Through this project, we hope to give young people in our community the chance to lead, perform, and create, while also providing our town with a memorable and uplifting entertainment experience. The funds we raise will go directly toward purchasing the rights to the show, renting the theatre, and covering theatre employee wages—three essential expenses that make this production possible.
