My name is Brody Carleton and I am a Life Scout with Troop 583 in Castaic, CA.

I am raising money for my Eagle Project, which is to build new trash can enclosures for Valley Trails Summer Camp, a local summer camp that is also a big supporter of my troop. I will be making the new enclosures to keep animals like crows and squirrels out of the trash. These animals like to get into the trash cans and spread garbage around the camp, which I would like to prevent. I will also be adding some recycling cans to the camp, which it does not currently have, so that the director can help teach the young kids that come through the camp the importance of recycling!

I will be leading a team of volunteers in the building and placement of these trash enclosures at Valley Trails on December 20th and January 3-4th. The funds requested are meant to cover the cost of materials, supplies, and food for the volunteers. Any additional funds collected will go directly to Valley Trails. All donations above $100 will receive their name on a permanent plaque that will be installed with the project!
