Hello, I am Brittney's sister, Briana. I’m extremely heartbroken as I explain this news to everyone. Everyone who knew about a year ago, Steve was diagnosed with cancer. He was doing great until recently, about three weeks ago, he was experiencing extreme headaches. It progressed to his vision being blurred and seeing double. He hasn’t been able to do much other than sleep in the dark because any light made things a lot worse. He ended up getting admitted to Williamsport hospital, where they ran lots of tests. As he was at Williamsport, he began to lose control of his left eye. He can no longer move his left eye. He was then sent to Pittsburgh hospital, where they have now confirmed he has cancer. He is going for another spinal tap today or tomorrow and another CAT scan today to try to find the mass/tumor in his head. Because it’s so small and early, they couldn’t see it at Williamsport. As of now, the plan is to receive chemo through spinal taps through his head, so he will have a line in his head, which they said he won’t feel because it’s small. They don’t have a name for the cancer yet. At this time, we don’t know what type of cancer it is yet. He has a lot more tests to be done. I will update as I have new answers.
In the meantime, Brittney or Steve are not working. Anyone who knows them is well aware they are hard workers! So, therefore, they can’t pay bills or get the basic things like gas and groceries. They have two kids, one little boy who is 2 years old and a daughter who is 11. Any donations will be greatly appreciated! I will update more as I get updates.
