Hi! My name is Brittany Garcia, and I am a 6th grade teacher at East Forsyth Middle School. My husband and I have 3 wonderful children and are currently hosting an exchange student from Portugal. I am embarking on a life-changing journey on January 2nd to Kenya where I will volunteer in local villages and schools to support local children ages ranging from infant to young adults. My mission is to work closely with local Kenyan children and families to help provide essential resources such as food, clothing, sports equipment, educational materials and water wells as well as educational support that can empower children towards a brighter future.
