Hi, my name is Brishe McKinley, and I’m reaching out with a broken heart and a mother’s desperate plea for answers.

Our beautiful daughter, Blessings, passed away suddenly, and we’re still left without clear answers as to why. The coroner’s office provided us with only a basic autopsy and a toxicology report — all of which came back negative. But they did not consult a pathologist, neurologist, or immunologist, which are critical steps in investigating unexplained deaths, especially in children.

It feels as though their focus was more on ruling us out than on truly uncovering the cause of her death. The report was vague and inconclusive, offering no closure — and no justice — for our little girl.

We believe Blessing deserves better. She deserves the truth.

That’s why we are now seeking an independent, second-opinion autopsy — one conducted by experts who will actually look deeper.

Unfortunately, this type of specialized review comes at a significant cost, and we simply cannot do it alone.
