Support Brian's US Army Deployment Overseas

This was a hard one to ask for .. 

 

But the overwhelming response from our family and friends asking "how they can help?" lead me in this direction. Myself (Lauren) and the kids plan on sending him care packages monthly, and the cost of the shipments along with contents may be more than we were expecting it to be. Yesterday, Brian tried to ship off two "foot lockers" of his basic items to get him through these nine months.. you know- bed sheets, egg crate, comforter & a pillow, his year worth of eye contacts, toiletries, etc.. and UPS wanted over $900 EACH.

 

For those that aren't aware of the full story, Brian left this morning, 9-18-2021 to with the US Army (He'll be at Ft Bliss for two weeks, and then officially going overseas on or around 10/2). He'll be stationed in Jordan, and will be there for 9 months. We hope to have him safe home in June 2022, or earlier if we're lucky. Our 3 children range 13 months to 7 years and are incredibly heart broken he is going to be gone so long, so in hopes of trying to make the time pass, we want to be able to send Brian, as well as any other soldier stationed there with him, with any monthly necessities that can help bring a smile to their face. And when Christmas time comes, we hope to be able so spoil Brian and his fellow soldiers with a little Christmas cheer. Any funds left over when Brian returns home, we plan on sending additional packages to other soldiers where ever we can.

 

So if you've reached out to check on myself, the kids and Brian .. we can't thank you enough.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. And if you are someone who's able to contribute to our plans, we will gladly take you up on anything. But there is absolutely no worries if you can't. We appreciate all the checkins, cookies, (WINE for this mama!) and all kinds of goodies that our family and friends have given us this last week.
