Support Brian's Fight for Custody

My name is Brian. I have 6 kids and 1 on the way with my amazing, supportive wife. I work a full-time job in industrial maintenance and try to pick up every minute of overtime available since I have extra bills now due to court fees and lawyer fees from fighting for my youngest daughter. Not getting anywhere due to bills, child support for my daughter that I hardly ever get to see, so the funds are not always available to pay my attorney.

Over the last two years, I have been fighting for custody of my now 4-year-old daughter. I have filed so much stuff through an attorney and the courts. I’m still in the same boat now that I was when I first started this process. Attorney fees and court fees started stacking up super fast because every week I was having to file something new because my child’s mother would break the court order and keep my child from me every single week. There have been times where I went 3 to 6 months without seeing my daughter, and I couldn’t do anything about it because I didn’t have the extra money sitting around to give to my attorney.

July 8th, she was snatched from our church during church service by her mother and her friend, and it was just over 6 months before I got in front of the judge because I had an outstanding balance with my attorney. So my daughter's mother kept being able to push the court hearing back with nothing I could do about it because I didn’t have the extra money.

I’m starting a GoFundMe to help out with this issue, not only for me but for other parents as well. I know several other dads, including myself, that are on the verge of signing their rights over to their child or have already done it because they don’t have the money to fight anymore, and it’s so much easier to just give up and suffer. So if you would like to donate, just know it’s not just one family you’re helping be complete again or one person to be able to see their child like they should.
